Snow-Chucker action shots

Hey all,

Well the weather guy said we should expect 6"-10" of snow but it only amounted to about 4". Oh well....had some fun anyway.

This is my "95" 416-H with a "95" 42" single stage.

Mike.........

Mike you and I must have the same weather guy.......he's never right!

And what is up these weather guys we have? They are only interested in

"snow totals" anymore. We can never figure out (since it snows almost daily)

when they start totalling and when they finish totalling. In the old days they would

say so much today....so much tonight....so much tomarow. And we knew

what they were talking about.

Nice pictures... wish I could get mine to throw it that far.

Was the basketball backboard/net down or did you blow it over??

Mike,

Those are some nice shots. I have a single stage blower too but mine has the stubby chute on it, and it will not throw snow like yours does. I'm a bit jealous.

HAHA! It was allready down Mike, but I bet I could knock it over  . Actually I got the net caught on the ladder rack on my van backing into the driveway about a month ago and since its winter and the kids dont shoot hoops in the winter I laid it down.

Mike.......

Mike, I'm not jealous at all, in Deep River, CT. I think I've go the same weather guy too. Only 3'' here but i got out to play for second time with my C-81 and the old 36" single stage I pickd up years ago. First play about week ago, all slush and just plugged up every 10 feet. Did some maintenence to blower during the week, adjusted drive chain, got the chute off and cleaned primed and painted inside to help make it a bit slicker, got swivel working smooth. Went all over trying to find vinyl covered cable of the correct size to turn the chute, no one had anything that small. I used .080 weed wacker line and works smooth as silk.

Beautiful downtown Andover, I'll have to check and see how far away you are. Oh and the pics are great

Richard

Nice pics, Mike. Maybe you can place them into the picture gallery under the "Horses at Work" section.

BTW, that portable garage get much use in the winter or does the "doors" freeze to where you can zip them open?
