Polyurethane Snow Plow Edges

For those who are looking for material for their snow blades and have concrete or asphalt drives, here is a company that makes them.  They can be blank or pre-drilled.  A guy on WFM used these on his John Deere garden tractor.

Picked up a free Craftsman blade. Previous owner made his own edge.

I don't have any use for the blade but, free it's me. Sitting with no need or use.

Wonder if they have a thinner version that one could sandwich across the bottom of the wear blade/scraper on a blower?  Cut pieces for the bottom of the shoes

They do custom edges also.

I use the Robalon skid shoes on my green machines snowblower Don.  They are a big improvement over the skinny metal skids. On my Wheel Horse thrower I attached sections of a used poly cutting board to the bottoms of the skids.

After last year and four-time already this year (3 hours each time), only minor wear (5%) on the one edge of this nylon blade ($20):

(I'm sold on this for an asphalt drive, quite, very easy to drill, very little wear –– have not used on gravel directly, edge was run high).

(at this rate, the two edges may last 10 years: in the pix you see a 20# lead bar temporally hanging on the mule mount, both the front and rear tires have Rim-Guard fluid inside, the weight and tri-rib tires greatly help control steering, blade has 2 upright corner markers, Silicone on blade face).
