wrightorchid 261 #2 Posted December 13, 2016 Keep an eye on your oil level. Sometimes the sensors go bad.

Sarge 3,462 #5 Posted December 13, 2016 I don't know how we'd live without your input on the proper manuals for all things WH - thank you so much for all your help . Sarge

gwest_ca-(File Mod) 10,488 #7 Posted December 13, 2016 I don't know if it was ever available through Wheel Horse/Toro. It is an Onan part number and many manuals state they are recorded for reference only. They did the same with Kohler engine parts. Perhaps Boomer will respond. Garry Here is an older thread where a replacement switch was needed but appears it only had one terminal.
608KEB 794 #8 Posted December 29, 2016 I have a thread on this. They still make it. But it's expensive.
cleat 4,936 #9 Posted December 29, 2016 I was thinking of putting an oil pressure guage on a 520 and eliminating one of the existing guages that I rarely use like the vacuum guage. It could be either electric or mechanical (I would likely just go electric). I already have mine all wired so the hour meter is permanently grounded and run whenever the key switch is on (I would never have the key on and engine off). However, if you want to stay all original, keep your eye on the classified sites, a pressure switch may turn up.

lynnmor 6,762 #11 Posted December 29, 2016 There are all kinds of automotive pressure switches available. Surely one could be used to replace the OEM switch. Would something like this work? Switch
608KEB 794 #12 Posted December 29, 2016 That pressure switch closes to make a complete circuit between 2 and 5 lbs. of oil pressure.
