Whewwww,,,,,,thanks ,,,,,,,im good here in Va..... 857 Horse Howard in Va I think we'll be okay in my part of Missouri. Looks like tentatively I'm in the .1 to an inch range. We probably have to worry more about sleet and/or freezing rain, which is worse than snow. I think we'll be okay as I have two tractors ready with snow blades awaiting, which usually halts any snow accumulation and sends the snow elsewhere. When I'm not ready, then we usually get some significant snow.

dcrage 621 #7 Posted December 1, 2016 I am planning on my last pass for leaf crunching this weekend -- I guess a little snow would keep the dust down -- I am 30-40 miles north of T-Mo -- I hope his estimation of 0.1 inch is good and I sure hope we miss the ice

Jim, from all the early forecasts, snow is more than likely for much of the midwest next week. Of course, it's too early to really make any predictions, but from one online source "The coldest air of the season arrives next week and with it comes the potential for a significant snowstorm. “Somebody ... in the Midwest is going to get hit,” KMTV meteorologist Ryan McPike said, adding that it’s too early to forecast the storm’s path with any confidence."

Well boys, time to mow the willow leaves one last time and then winterize the mighty D for action!. I'm sooooo glad I have that beastly two stage... If we do get hit, you can be sure there will be some videos on the "Peacemaker Jack channel"

PeacemakerJack 10,670 #23 Posted December 4, 2016 Jeff, Don't give up on that thing for sure, they are awesome machines. Here's "RED" already for action... It's funny how big that tractor is and yet with the monster sized two stage on there, it makes the tractor look small! Jim, good score on the Cab. I'm still trying to decide what to do about mine...it would take a lot of fabrication to make mine work. We'll see
WVHillbilly520H 10,369 #24 Posted December 4, 2016 Jack I see some red other than that turns yellow and white, I like them too got my eye on a 147 and dad has an original a 1200 and a 1450 that we have a single stage blower mounted on, and I haven't gave up on the Dxi it's just finding time to tear it down to replace the injection pump (that I have),Jeff. PeacemakerJack 10,670 #25 Posted December 4, 2016 Jeff, I have been a lifelong WH fan... (dad and I on his 875 circa 1978) And I always will be a fan of them! However, it was Cubs that got me into this hobby. You could definitely say that I'm a hobbyist who enjoys all the vintage GT's of the 50-70's with Horses and Cubs being my favorites. 147's are cool tractors and I think that would be a neat addition to your tractor. I like the GD 1200's and based on the snow that is falling outside right now, that 1450 would be handy here in a couple of hours! It will be worth it to get that D up and running-I'll be cheeriby for you when you do. The snow is falling now. We'll see what it looks like by late afternoon....
