Who made a Sears loader

Recommended Posts

Macgyver

Hi got a chance to buy a Sears tractor with a Sears loader. Would

like to know who made it. The tractor looks about the size of a 520

and has an older 20hp Onan.

Could be a Kwik-Way, Ark, or homemade.

They probably all made sub frames to mount on Sears. Need a few  :text-coolphotos:.

I found it on a Craig's list ad in my area for $900 tractor & loader. It's not

home built and still has the Sears decals on the frame.

That Sears loader is most likely a Kwik-Way, but there was also a recent thread where someone had a Sears loader made by Simpson.

And on a side note... if I had the disposable cash.... that would have been off CL weeks ago. I can't believe it's still sitting there! Go get it!

If you're looking at the one in Machesney Park, that is a Kwik-way manufactured loader.  They built them for Sears and Roebuck and for the stores in Canada that were partnered with Sears (Simpsons).  Like Sears, Simpson's was only the brand and the retailer.  They didn't make the loader.

Kwik-Way built a machine-specific subframe that adapted their loader to fit many a garden tractor.  Then they slapped a Sears or Simpsons tag on them.
