OK, I'm a critic, that battery clamp scares me.  If it were to move forward, or the battery back a bit, things could get ugly real fast.  The original went over the front corner with a piece of angle to keep it in place.

That thought's crossed my mind too, the original clamp was missing and I had this laying around so I stuck it on there. I probably should get the correct one.  Thanks for reminding me.

Thanks, Jeff. That looks easy enough to make but I lost access to a welder when I retired a few months ago, until I convince the management around here that I need one it's  just easier to buy the hold down. I appreciate the help though.

Denny,

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the replacement "footrest pads" that you just installed? I have a unit that needs them replaced too! Thanks in advance...........Gary

I got them from Eldon at classickitchensandmore.com....... Scroll down towards the bottom of his web page and you'll see Wheel Horse parts.

Have a close friend that is retired tell me: A week of retirement consists of six Saturdays and one Sunday. I love every day of it. 😎

The problem with retirement is that everyone thinks you don't have anything to do, and as most of us retirees know, that's not the case.
