dirtnap 39 #1 Posted November 25, 2016 Found this online. Owner claims it's a WH. I haven't seen it in person. Yes I know Wheel Horses aren't blue but maybe this ones been repainted over the years. I'm not well versed in the pre-70's models so any help here from the experts would be appreciated!
paulmackellow 25 #2 Posted November 25, 2016 (edited) Looks more like a Jacobsen to me but I'm not sure... Edited November 25, 2016 by paulmackellow
SPINJIM 1,978 #3 Posted November 25, 2016 (edited) Looks like a Sears to me, after Roper stopped making them for Sears, and before AYP started making them. Definitely not a Wheel Horse. Might still be collectible. Probably from the 70s or 80s.. Jim Edited November 25, 2016 by SPINJIM
Ed Kennell 35,708 #4 Posted November 25, 2016 (edited) I vote with Jim. Looks like Sears. Interesting...Sears had the WH style front mule drive in 1965. Not sure....on the Sears, I couldn't find one with round fenders. dirtnap 39 #5 Posted November 25, 2016 Thanks for the replies men! I didn't think it was a WH by the profile. That lift lever on the right didn't look right either.

SPINJIM 1,978 #7 Posted November 25, 2016 (edited) Gilson also made tractors for Montgomery Ward. If the blue & white colors are original, it might have had the Montgomery Ward name on it. Other MW equipment I have seen has been blue & white, while Gilsons that I have seen have been orange & white. But, as prondzy said, looks like it's definitely made by Gilson. The day is wasted if I don't learn something new. Jim Edited November 25, 2016 by SPINJIM

DennisThornton 4,769 #9 Posted November 25, 2016 Don't see any WH or Roper/Sears blood there... But goodness I've been wrong before!

FL, 200' from open water, listed for 5C notes I'd trade for. Think the seller would have interest? Love those no tax transfers..............
