catman81056 3 #2 Posted January 8, 2009 Yes, I have 2 but the one on the Electro 12 won't be getting used. If I can get it off without damageing it (I've heard the pin sometimes is frozen in the outside ears) I'll take $15.00 plus actual shipping. Let me know. TT-(Moderator) 1,127 #3 Posted January 8, 2009 Tim, are you talking about the OEM cast iron slot hitch? I think "noncritical" is asking about the sleeve (clevis) hitch for Brinly implements.
jusjeepn 59 #4 Posted January 9, 2009 Tim, If its a clevis hitch I'll take it!! P/M me!

TT-(Moderator) 1,127 #10 Posted January 10, 2009 I paid 50 plus shipping for mine on e-bay! For which - a slot hitch, or a sleeve hitch? :hide:
KyBlue 652 #11 Posted January 10, 2009 I dont remember what I paid for mine...less than 50 but more than 15 ... pretty good deal for 15 dollars... (sleeve hitch)
jusjeepn 59 #12 Posted January 10, 2009 If you paid $50 for a slot hitch, you probably been smoking too many left handed cigaretts. I'm not sure every one here understands the difference between a slot and a sleeve hitch!

jerrell 1 #16 Posted January 12, 2009  Sleeve hitch, Slot hitch, and clivis hitch, time to clean the air, \ What is the difference, aren't sleeve and slot the same, clevis is very different.??????
linen beige 14 #17 Posted January 12, 2009 Sleeve and clevis are the same. I know that doesn't really make sense. Slot is different. Sleeve and clevis are also called Brinly/Brindly/Brinley/Brindley/etc. The slot hitch takes the flat steel bar that is used on Wheel Horse stuff. The sleeve/clevis/Brinly takes the "C" shaped hitch used by the Brinly-Hardy company.
jerrell 1 #18 Posted January 12, 2009 :dunno: Jim you said that just right, now i know the difference, it just seems that a sleeve and slot ought to go together, i know a clevis is a C with pin thru it, that's the way we hooked up the equipmet on the farm as a kid, none of that 3 pt stuff was available at that time.
