shallowwatersailor 3,213 #2 Posted October 30, 2016 It may be harmful to idle an air-cooled engine that long. You could run down the charge on the battery in that amount of time and the rectifier isn't keeping up, or you may have a ground issue. The Black Hoods depend on grounding the headlights through the hood hinges.
