Wheel horse 800?

Recommended Posts

Skjervik

Hello. I recently aquired this Wheel Horse 800 3 speed. Previous owner told me it was a Commando 800. But I'm unsure of it. Can any of you verify that? It has a MAG1026 SRL X188 engine that's not running when warm. (Do you have any suggestions to what the problem might be?)

I'm also looking for the tool coupling thing (The piece to put on the back to hook up the plow)

Gonna need some better pics. Take pics of the motor, dash and shifter area. I am new here too, but I know somebody is going to want those pics to help identify you tractor.

Try looking in the area that has pictures of lots of the different models of tractors. That helped me a lot.

:WRS:    There should be a tag riveted to the tower just below the steering wheel that will have a model number on it. Being a European :wh: the numbers may differ from those in the US, but we also have many great Euro members with lots of information to share.

There are a couple of plow attachment hitches; the slot hitch is the most common; probably best to buy the plow first the post a "Wanted" ad on here for the hitch.

The issue you are having with not running well when hot could be ignition or fuel related. Begin by rebuilding the carburetor and making sure the fuel system is clean and has fresh gas in it.

Thank you all.

Today it lasted half an hour without choking itself. Had som troubles mid-session with pushing dirt, but worked fine after that.

I recently changed the oil and plug. It had been sitting still for 2 years before I got it. Maybe it just needs a "run-in" ?

Here are a few extra pictures. Hope they help.

There is a product named Seafoam which is a fuel system additive that works well, not sure if you have that in Norway.

I do not think I can get it here. We have some sort of fuel cleaning liquid that I tried out today. Maybe that's why it ran so long..
