Wheel-N-It 2,967 #1 Posted October 2, 2016 My daughter Shanna loves John Deere's. I threatened to cut off her inheritance if she continues to disgrace this family with her green tractor. I keep telling her we are a Wheel Horse family, and there is no room for green here. So we decided love conquers all and met in the middle as a good Father and Daughter should. Here's what we came up with. LOL
JERSEYHAWG / Glenn 4,487 #2 Posted October 2, 2016 Van, you need a bit more red in there. Lol At least there was a compromise. Glenn

Oh yeah, it's runs good, well not terrific like a true Wheel Horse but it does run good. It's not a Kohler K or M, it's a rice burner Kawasaki LOL
SylvanLakeWH 24,093 #5 Posted October 2, 2016 Two observations... The Wheel Horse hood is of course covering the weaker JD components from the elements etc. as they obviously need such help to last a bit longer... and, the duct tape is on the JD seat... just sayin...

SylvanLakeWH 24,093 #10 Posted October 2, 2016 Buy her some RED scrubs when she graduates - not them light GREEN things everyone wears....
DennisThornton 4,769 #11 Posted October 2, 2016 Even if you painted all the yellow red it still wouldn't be right. But still, in the interest of keeping the family together... Honestly, I've been looking for some "Green" for sometime! It will happen someday!

I saw her briefly yesterday after she got home from clinical, and yes her shrubs were green. I like your idea and will have to try and find her some red ones. 1 hour ago, DennisThornton said: Even if you painted all the yellow red it still wouldn't be right. You can paint a John Deere red but its still not not a beloved Wheel Horse. Now if you paint a JD yellow it might pass for a Cub Cadet LOL (got one of those too)

Problem will be getting the guys on Red Square to agree on what "shade" of red or brand will constitute the official and acceptable Wheel Horse "Red"... May have to post a new thread on that issue alone!
