in need of a new seat

looking to replace or restore seat on my machine. i have a 73 16h auto model 1-0440. id like to maintain an orginal look but not opposed to something different as ive seen many pics of different seats out there. just looking for some guidance on what to look for

I use these. Just like the original low back seat that Wheel Horse used, but without the logo.

will these seats bolt right up to existing mount/base. Or will i be drilling holes to accept seat

The V-3500 has the correct bolt hole pattern.

are folks using any springs under these seats, or just remounting new seat to existing location?

I unbolt the old one and install the new one.  Maybe buy new hardware if the old ones are crappy.
