Congrats!  I saw that on CL....glad that a member picked it up.  Make a nice frame, grab some lights, and hang it up!

Thanks. Not sure what im going to frame it with. Probaby some 1 x stock and face it with some of the old barn siding I have. I have to keep it safe for the next week till the pole barn is finished and I can hang it.

It doesn't need to be fancy.  Let the focus be on the sign.  Here are a couple I framed up.....

Would like to have a sign or two myself, but haven't ran across any.

That is OK though, the biggest kick I get is when I hop on the 312-8 to mow. Aways puts a smile on my face.

What did you use for the box and frame? I like that minimal look.

1" x 6" if I remember correctly.  I didn't do anything real fancy.  Also wired in a switch on the outside to make like a little easier.  I also used some 90 degree trim to hold the plastic in place.

Yes those are the type of lights that I used.  Just mounted the ballast to the wall.

Did you mount the lights in the center of the box or along the top and bottom edges of the box?

A year ago I went to go pick up a sign that was still on the original dealer building. One of the light up ones. $100 I was gonna get it for. My dad went up there, it was pretty high. All he has to stabilize himself was a rusty pole that the sign was held up on with a rusty chain. We didn't want to take the chance of the chain breaking and him falling, so we passed until we could find someone who would do it for us. We found someone, went back, and the owner said he doesn't want to go through that again. I was dissapointed, it's not every day that you come across a light up wheel horse sign for $100.

Those are some very nice signs Scott, they don't pop up too often, especially in the shape they are in.

I mounted them in two rows.  One set was near the top and the othe near the bottom.
