A very moving story. And a fitting gesture to your buddy.

Sorry for the loss of a dear friend, but his daughter knew you would take care of his WH and cherish it as much as he (Felix) did.

I like the tee handle recycling/repurpose approach.

Nice that the horse has a new stable where it will be treated well.

What a wonderful and thoughtful gift. His daughter could tell how close you and her dad were and how much he appreciated all your help.

I wouldn't change a thing on it either!   :handgestures-thumbupright:

He was a great friend of yours and you was a great friend of his. This is how it should always work out.:USA: Happy fourth of July.

Great story.  I'm glad the daughter honored your friendship with her dad and remember you first before doing something else with the tractor.

Thank you for sharing that story Pete. It's a Wheel Horse collector's blessing to have a tractor with the special story behind it that yours has.

Sad ending. A tribute to your friend, keep his Stallion workin' and well groomed.

Then pass the Horse on for safe keeping:handgestures-thumbupright:

Truly sorry for your loss, and moved by your tribute to your friend.  it is a beautiful tractor and I know your friend would be happy knowing that it is in great hands.
