Need help to identify this differential.

I was told that it may have come out of a Jaguar.

 

My Father and I are  curious.

 

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

That could have very well come out of a Jag. I know they had a funky set up like that. If I remember right, the brakes were in close to the diff assembly. Post it on a Jag forum. someone might need it! :banana-wrench:

looks more like a subaru rear diff

could also very well be a datsun diff, i know some datsun diffs are interchangeable with subie diffs
