74' C-160 Auto

I know all the variables when buying, but what do you think this might fetch? Or what would you guys be willing to pay for it? It's my uncles and he keeps asking what the value is and is wanting to sell it. I told him I'm not sure and it will go for $25. Well he didn't go for that.

He has acouple horses and knows they are great tractors. He says it runs great. I was thinking of offering him $300 for it.

Comb even with pics it's hard to nail down the value of a tractor...it's different for everyone....everywhere.

But that does look like a pretty sharp C 160 Auto & if you can get it for $300....your uncle must really like you. :hide:

C's had hood ornaments up to 75 & a rear fender that tilted for storage.

76 on the hoods no longer had the hood ornament & the rear fenders were bolted down.

Now I'm tell him it ain't worth as much since it's not a pre 75' and no hood ornament. Worth a try :imstupid:

At least a '76--like posted above--the seat flips up on this one---mine are both 75's and have the other configuration.

However --the one in your pictures looks clean and straight--and has the hyd. valve set-up on it--certainly worth that $$--in this area, at least---

The only stickey point--is buying from friends and family, sometimes.

I would offer him at least $400.

Never good to take advantage of relatives......or anyone for that matter.

If he likes you....he will make you a lower counter offer.

And everyone will be happy.
