Looking to buy first tractor at Big Show.

That is before and after I just washed it really good! Very we'll taken care of . I Just took the wooden block off the pedal . So the 95-year-old owner could reach the pedal . My first riding  tractor period .moved a  yard of topsoil with the greatest of ease today . and I've only been at it for a couple hours!

All original just washed and a little degreaser .

Should it have been used in this style hitch? And should it look handmade?

Not an expert, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn.  I don't think your pin was home made.  The round end is too perfect.  Can you tell by looking at it if it is maybe a cut off eyebolt???

I don't think . It looks like it was sheared off by heavy shearing knife and it's off center.i can't upload anymore pictures but I'm saving it all anyways.

I think you are right now that I look at it more closely, it looks like it's made from the same exact metal and plating the housing rod is made from.
