953 nut 51,541 #5 Posted May 29, 2016 If you were to get a piece of opaque plastic (like sign companies use as a light diffuser) it would probably make a good lens.
TIGman 2,006 #6 Posted May 29, 2016 Just for grins I'm going to hook a battery up tomorrow and see if they still work. Did find out today that the 875 probably was sold "new" by a local dealer here in town.
AMC RULES 36,945 #7 Posted May 29, 2016 By chance... did you discover your local dealership decal somewhere on it?
dells68 7,494 #8 Posted May 29, 2016 Me likey! I think I'd be tempted to leave that alone. Kind of gives it a wicked look. Restore the tractor and I bet only a few people would know it wasn't stock!

Haven't found one yet, but it would be "Cedar Springs Tractor" a Ford Tractor dealer in town. Later on they started selling Ford lawn tractors. My Foreman's Dad worked there and said Wheel Horse out sold the Ford brand.

That's how long she has been setting I understand. They did try to make it look nice, added a trim bezel around the lights. Those are automotive fog lamps, had some like that on my old car. They used 1 1/4" angle steel as a base mount for the lights. I think I'll keep them.

ACman 7,505 #18 Posted May 29, 2016 Black out in between the lights and I think that would make it look seamless, and look more menacing ! The angry eyebrow look . Not to say it doesn't look good now .
