I want to ask where the starter solenoid should be mounted because when I got this tractor the solenoid was not on there? Also there is no starter button or starter key switch. pfrederi 17,128 #3 Posted May 26, 2016 Some Electros used the heavy duty ignition switch...no solenoid, starter motor current went directly through the switch. The switches are not common and are costly. Going with a solenoid is a much better idea. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
