Joeyd 35 #1 Posted May 20, 2016 Whats up guys, I'm looking for your opinion on how much you'd pay for this...I found a mint 314-8 50th Anniversary with under 300 hours on it, selling with the deck only. I've never purchased an anniversary edition before so just seeing what you think a fair price would be. Seller is asking $950, I think thats a pretty fair price but just seeing what you all think. Thanks in advance, Joe
DougC 2,641 #2 Posted May 20, 2016 He would take $850 cash in hand I would be willing to bet unless he pulls the old There's three other guys coming to look at it and two of them said hold it for me, I'm on my way! crap.... Mint and low hours and anniversary edition is way less than new junk lawn tractors the big box stores sell to unsuspecting victims that last about 3 seasons of mowing and nothing else before they fall apart around themselves........ I think I would jump on it, if it was me and if in fact it actually is mint condition.....
Joeyd 35 #3 Posted May 20, 2016 (edited) I think I'm going to jump on it. I think I'd kick myself in the butt if i didn't. Edited May 20, 2016 by Joeyd
Racinbob 10,271 #4 Posted May 20, 2016 (edited) That's a very fair price for it. Now just don't forget to post pictures. Now my mentioning pictures looks silly...... If that was mine I certainly wouldn't let it go for that. Edited May 20, 2016 by Racinbob
Tankman 3,515 #5 Posted May 20, 2016 If mint, perhaps. Depends on how badly you want it and want to spend the cash. Go look and work a deal. Mint condition, Horse and deck.
953 nut 51,541 #6 Posted May 20, 2016 Once you have seen and driven it you will know more, if the 300 hours is for real and the condition is top notch it seems priced right.

Amcwheel85 2,058 #8 Posted May 20, 2016 Yea that's a beautiful tractor! I would buy it for that! And the house it sits in front of looks really nice so I'm sure they babies the tractor and now have a zero turn(or hired a lawn service to mow it)
squonk 38,848 #9 Posted May 20, 2016 Looks good. Just one thing. Those pics were taken while the tractor was wet. Paint might not be actually that shiny.

Pollack Pete 2,273 #11 Posted May 20, 2016 Way too shiny for me.The ones I usually buy have more rust than paint.Oh wait....it's a 314? Real low hours? Mint condition? Perfect mower deck? Buy it man. BUY IT NOW.
doc724 924 #12 Posted May 20, 2016 I saw that machine and it is only about 20 miles from me. I would have bought it except 1. Already have one (anniversary edition) 2. Have 4 working machines already 3. No place to put it 4. Want to stay married $950 is a good price. Make sure to ask if the hour meter is working?

TDF5G 2,051 #18 Posted May 23, 2016 (edited) That 314 is in great shape. It will last you a lifetime. If it's what you want then go with cash in your pocket and start dickering. He'll probably come down a little. And I would be getting there ASAP! Edited May 23, 2016 by TDF5G
