Yessir, atleast one today. A Raider 9 with deck, plow, snowblade, and disc tomorrow, and a small collection sunday that I've decided I already need 2 of!

It has raider 10 decals on it, but he claims it is in fact a 9.

I am having an issue with the "parking brake" idler for the drive belt. How does one keep it tensioned?

Answer: Simply a broken spring to hold the tensioner down.

Restoring a Charger 12 with a breakerless ignition to breaker ignition.  My theory is .....its only a matter of time before it goes bad so change it now while everything is apart.
The question:  There are three wires coming from the stator.  Two go to the rectifier and one goes to the breakerless coil.
What would be the proper way do do away with the third wire?  Just cut it off? or ???  The book doesn't mention conversions.
      Thanks
      Bob

I recently picked up a 1970 Charger 12 to bring back to life.  The engine sounded real good and didn't smoke.  The hydro didn't have any problems but the mower deck looked like it took a direct hit from a RPG.
I had restored a 42" deck for my Raider so the deck was not a real problem. I also had a 1968 Charger 12 that the guy said I had to take when I picked up a 74 C-120 (I wanted the engine for a spare)
Now I had a "donor" for the 1970Charger
In the process of taking the 70 Charger down to the frame I found that a mouse had made a nest on the box for the motion lever and associated parts.  I found nuts, a fair amount of bedding material and what was left of the mouse.
As I started to put everything back together I needed a part from the 68.  When I took the cover off - this is what I found.  This guy worked REALLY hard building a nice warm place to spend the winter

My Charger project despite a setback or two is coming along.....one piece at a time

Does not run but it's in good condition and will take very little to get going  if you're interested let me know. I will trade for other Wheelhorse tractors

Hi all. I'm new to the site I just discovered it. Quick history my dad and I wanted a horse for a long time. And about 8 years ago I found one and we bought it. Sadly he passed shortly after. In the process I had to sell the tractor because I had no way to get it to Texas. Well I am finding them impossible to find so I am wanting to "piece build" one and use my dads old Wisconsin as a power plant. (Only seems fitting). Any ideas on how and where to find the parts with shipping would be helpful.

1968 electro 12.  In really good condition. No rust. I've owned it for 2 years now. Starts runs mows plows. I use her all year long no problems.  48"deck 48"plow with tire chains.  All hydraulic hoses replaced last year. Wiper seal replaced in hydraulic 2way valve for up down. Fixed the leaky triangular seal on the trans already. Posi traction. New deck belt this year. New battery this year. From what i can tell most of the parts are there other than the obvious missing headlight lens and hood ornament. Well and the red paint  I replaced one pulley on the belt tensioner. Has a small oil leak. Could use new tires but never bothered me.  Could use a little tlc and i just don't have the time anymore with a new baby at home. I also know there's someone on here with a lot more knowledge and know how that can take care of her and appreciate her more then i ever could. (The tractor not the baby lol)  I got the price from people on here so that's a starting point only. I am definitely open to offers so don't hesitate to ask. Worse case scenario im gonna keep her as my plow horse and go buy a new cutter so i don't have to keep switching the 2. Heavier duty and hydraulic lift really making plowing fun.
