Suburban 401footrests

I have too build my own footrests as they are missing to. How wide should they be and about how long . and how far down from the top should the swivel part be welded on at? I picked up some metal for em today

Great drawing Richard but that's the 1960 footrest. The 61 had the cast footrest. :)

I know that, but my presumption was that he isn't a mold maker with a forge!    :wacko:

Actually, I wasn't sure if Seven was aware of the difference. Some guys want to keep things as close to original as possible. If that's the case I'm sure he could find a pair of 61 rests. If I had a pair of 61's I'd put them on my 400. :)
