Is it possible to install a PTO on a D-160 or any D series that doesn't already have one.

I thought all D series came with a PTO on the engine crankshaft (some had electric some manual)...are you talking about a rear PTO for running tiller, 3 pt hitch mowers etc>>>

Yeah, what Paulf said - The D's came with a PTO, that is the pulleys/clutch on the side of the engine, but as far as the shaft running to the rear, no, all didnt have that, it was an extra. But, yes, a shaft can be added. They fairly often pop up here in classifieds or on the bay. Do be aware that the WH's PTO runs at 3000rpm necessitating using WH attachments (tiller)

Yes I was referring to the rear pto shaft and thanks for answering my question. I haven't bought the D-160 yet, going to look at it next weekend. I have been wanting to get one since I was  a kid and my grandfather had one but lost it in his second divorce or I would have it by now.
