C145 with a Sunstrand hydro problem

Got a c145 with a Sunstrand Hydro. When youpush impliment lift lever to lower the deck, It squalls and kills the engine. Is it possible to have hoses crossed on control valve? will that make it do that? Otherwise it moves fine and it is strong. It has done that since I got it. It lifts good though.

The front port on the lift cylinder should go to the rearmost port on the control valve

 

The rear port on the lift cylinder goes to the front most port on the valve

 

The outer (left side) port on the control valve goes to the rear of the hydro pump

 

The inner (right side) port on the valve goes to the port on top of the hydro pump
