BPjunk 184 #2 Posted December 14, 2008 My guess is that a really big guy has been stepping off the right side using the foot rest. With this design of the 3/4 inch steel rod being welded to a cut out in the frame this could happen ..... but I have not seen this very offten. Wild Bill in Richmond, Va. TT-(Moderator) 1,127 #3 Posted December 14, 2008 That condition is indicative of a tractor that suffered repeated hard landings on the front wheels. (too many wheelies ) The short-frame tractors are more apt to lift the front end when starting off or pulling. If filled tires or wheel weights are used, it's recommended to install a front counterweight of some sort. (or wheelie bars )
