new horse hauler and other changes

since my collection keeps on growing,,,,,, I needed a better way to haul my collection to the shows. my 28 foot enclosed is full of tractors that only go to shows and my old narrow car trailer just wasn't that safe to haul more then 3 tractors at one time. so i talked the wife into a home equity line of credit and proceeded to gather prices on different options that would meet my needs and give room here at home. my wife's 92 year old grandma is living with us and my son is graduating from college and also need to move back home for a month or so till he and a friend start their new job and can rent an apartment together closer to his new job. I looked into a new enclosed trailer, what i really wanted but decided it was just to expensive to get what i wanted and needed, so plan B, I check alot of different brands of landscape trailers. and once again ran into trying to find one that fit the budget, cheap and good quality. Finally decided on an Appalachian trailer. the good part was that they had just what i was looking for sitting at the factory in Ohio and didn't ave to wait for 4 to 6 weeks to be built so I would have for the little guys show May 20, 21. It showed up in Manheim Pa in a week. i picked it up yesterday morning and the took it for an hour ride up to Dale's mower service and picked up so parts that I had ordered and then proceeded home. got home and the wife wanted to go to supper and some errands. got home and checked c/l to find a wheel horse snow blower for $ 40.00 listed. called the guy and he said i was the 3 rd caller on it in 15 minutes since it was listed. i told him i can come right now if it wasn't promised to anybody else and it wasn't to late, it was 8:30 or a little later. he told me to come on over, so i asked him if i ha room to turn around a 20 ft trailer and he said no problem, he was a real nice guy and had just sold his house that day and was moving to a smaller place in York and a house in Florida, but the new trailer got christen with a trail blazer 7, not sure the trailer was big enough for it lol.

 so now here are pictures of the trailer, all of my trailers, the trail blazer 7 and things to come. the new trailer is a 82"x20' 10k. and a special shout out of thanks to Charlie Cully and Don Varos for all of their help

here's what the pad is for, I'm a little disappointed, I bought a 14'x28' shed so I could put my Dart and tractors in, figuring that outside width would be 14' and inside wold be 13' + inside. when it arrived I only measured 12" 9" inside and 13' outside. apparently the 14' is measured at the peak ends. kind-of misleading in my opinion, but at this point I guess it is what it is. so here's the pictures, I do want to put sealant on the floor before filling it up

Nice setup - being prepared is priceless in the long run. Sweet old Dodge - those are nearly impossible to find used around here as no one will turn loose of one and they refuse to die.
