The Wheel Horse nomenclature is dozer blade and grader blade, not "snow plow."

Grader blades don't go on the front of a tractor!

But you do "grade the rock driveway"

But some do refer to them as "snow plows."  But not I.

I guess it doesn't matter whether you're pushing, or pulling it through the paticular material you have on hand...

as you see here, it's still rolling off of a mold board plow.   :confusion-shrug:

I could have watched this all day.

Forgot it was Easter weekend, been working on papers for school in between gardening all week, don't watch much TV. The Holidays are so unauthentic these days I would feel like a hypocrite to even celebrate Easter if I didn't shop till I drop or buy a car, sheesh

When you work at a Chevrolet dealer ship like i do.....they call them Holidays,,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used a snow plow to plow snow all over own for 17 years...I even plowed down some mail boxes!

I think you may have plowed into some mailboxs....... another usage.

In Iowa most say snow plows or the plows are out clearing the roads. We should ask the Donald and Hillary for help on this issue as well as on

Do you mow the grass

cut the grass

mow the lawn

cut the lawn

Now..... I need a drink....

As long as we're on terminology. Why do we drive on a Parkway and park in a driveway?

I recall seeing that "Snow Thrower" refers to a single-stage and "Snow Blower" a two-stage, on account of the different mechanics of ejecting the snow.

Here's what Mr Webster says.

OK, Time for  PLOWING or THROWING or BLOWING or CHUCKING, but I'll be DOZING.   images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRJ-bz6bnPvNMyi3NeXm88

I just did a search in the manuals forum here.  Snowblower or snow blower has 0 results.  Snow thrower has 0 results.  Snowthrower has 7 pages of results.

I hear that Jim.    My water lines froze in the barn last night, the Daffy Dills and Two Lips are frozen and when the thermostat switched from 55 to 70 this morning, the poor little 100K BTU boiler worked for two hours to get up to temp.     Almost had to fire up the wood burner to keep the cat and Mrs K happy.
