Snapper rear engine rider

Recommended Posts

I am going to look at a Snapper rear engine mower to use for cutting this grass this year. It has a 14.5 B&S and a hydrostatic transmission. I was wondering if any of you guys had any experience with this mower. I have a couple of mower decks for my WH's but cutting grass with them would get them dirty,:). And the decks need restored too. I have done some reading on the Snapper but thought I'd look for actual experience from this group.

Thanks, Ted

I've used one once and was not a fan. I did have a Murray rider before i got into WH and i actually was very happy with it besides having to re tighten all the bolts every couple months it was great cheap mower to use.

The Snapper Rear Engine riders are great machines for mowing.

I had one for 10 years that was supposed to be shot when I got it (for $50).

That thing went through hell and back and still did a great job of mowing....right up to the point it blew up!

Although.........(not mine!)
