DougL3 63 #1 Posted February 10, 2016 Sneak peek of what just drove off the trailer under its own power. The flaky floorboard is bedliner spray that didn't stick. I need to adjust the motion control lever, but it's ready to mow with a 42"RD deck.

Horse46 512 #3 Posted February 10, 2016 Does that wheel assist knob actually make it easier to steer, I would think they are a bit heavy for that to work?
DougL3 63 #4 Posted February 10, 2016 With the gear reduction steering it's actually really easy. The only downside to the knob is my belly gets in the way! I need to fab up some extended seat rails for this 520 and the 416.

Tankman 3,515 #6 Posted February 10, 2016 (edited) Very nice Horse! For the foot rests, easy to apply, inexpensive and stays put! Coarse skateboard grip tape! One piece will do both footrests. http://www.evo.com/mob-grip-tape-sheet.aspx 1 hour ago, Horse46 said: Does that wheel assist knob actually make it easier to steer, I would think they are a bit heavy for that to work? The wheel assist knobs are illegal in some states when used in highway vehicles. My opinion? Overkill and just get in the way. I think Chivas Regal works best. TDF5G 2,051 #7 Posted February 10, 2016 (edited) Those foot rest pads look great. I found these anti-skid step stick-ons (see pics) at Lowes a while back. I cut them down to the original size for my B-100. I don't remember the exact cost, seems like $5-6 each. Someone may have posted these before. I saw some a couple of weeks ago at a big truck stop accessory store with out the yellow stripe, I think they were about $3-4 each. I used to buy these at the local WH dealer, now discontinued. Horse46 512 #8 Posted February 12, 2016 I've gone with ribbed rubber mat, I'm hoping with the groove running side ways it should be good n grippy, also easier to clean than the grip tape IMO Sorry for the blatant plug but it was the only picture i had clear enough to show the groove.
