I have a 1966 Wheel Horse 856 3-speed with reverse. Is there a special PTO I need to use the underbelly mower deck that came with it when I bought it at an auction?

There is no PTO clutch.  You should have a spring loaded mower drive belt idler pulley that can engage/disengage the mower belt. The right foot pedal is used to operate the pulley.

If  you go to the manuals section and search  your tractor, you can download the operators manual.

I don't have a PTO Clutch foot pedal on the right side. I only have one on the right side. Should I have two?

:huhs:    I assume you mean you have the LEFT foot pedal that controls the transaxle drive belt tension.

Yes, to drive the deck, you need the RIGHT foot pedal and tensioning pulley assembly as I described and Dick showed in his picture.

Well it looks like I'm out of luck. I have been looking for blades for my Lawn Ranger and having zero luck. I have tried Wheel Horse part numbers 7908, 7909. Toro part numbers 8777, and 53322 and no one has anything like this. I was thinking about doing a cut down, but finding right hand and left hand blades seems to be the problem.
Anyone making blades, constructing blades, got a work around, etc? My blades are usable, but that is about it.
