I have a snowblower that has a bad bearing inside the auger on the chain side. Took it apart, and now I can't find a bearing like the one I need! One thing I need to know is if these parts are metric or American? If it is American, it is a 3/4" inside diameter, 1 5/8" outside diameter, 7/16" width. Anybody have a place they get them? Near Rochester, MN. It is a model 53321 snowblower I think as the model # plate is really scratched up.

The old bearing should have a mfg part number on it.  Find it and then take it to NAPA.  I am sure there is an SKF equivalent.

If you can't find a number, NAPA should also be able to measure it and find a duplicate.

I can't find a part number, but I plan on taking it to NAPA after school and see if they have one in the shop. If they don't have one, I'm going to take it to a welding shop nearby because I heard they have a great selection of bearings like that. I'd like to get it today, because we're supposed to get 8-12 inches of snow tomorrow!

My 79360 single stage had 1630-2RS bearings on the inside of the auger shaft.  I'm not sure which model you have of if they are the same bearings..  You could try a local bearing house or NAPA or just order online at USA Bearings and Belts.  1630-2RS bearing are common inexpensive bearings.

I found two of them at a local bearing and welding shop. Fit perfectly and blowing snow today!

This posting by Bob Maynard is a very good read on buying replacement bearings and bushings that will work on the old snowblowers   with the #5269 bearing in them.   Also works for sickle bar mowers that had the same insert bearing set up.

Hi, I'm brand new to the forum and just brought home (last night) my first Wheelhorse tractor.  It's a '75 C-100 and it's in great shape.  Unfortunately it did not come with a mower deck and so I am looking at my options.  As far as I can tell the 5-1011 is the OEM for a 42" side discharge deck.  I was, however told that both side and rear discharge options were (or are now) available.
That said, I would love to find a used 42" mower deck that fits my tractor, however I am not sure how to properly ID it if I come across one.  Would the model # be 5-1011, and if so would it be stamped on the deck?
I have also heard that new ones can be bought through Toro, however I would rather not spend thousands on an aftermarket mower deck if I can restore an original for less $.

NOS snowthrower attachment, model 06-36SL01, fits 200-series WH tractors. NOS (new-old stock) never been used or even mounted. Needs work from having been banged around and stored outside for many years, some surface rust, belt is missing, pics tell the story. First $150 takes it. Email W1HYN@yahoo.com.

Having problems. Rod for PTO will not drop down far enough. So I needed to take top bracket off to get rid out and remove belt?   Next item, is there a truck to remove belt?  I can not get it out of pulley area as it is twisted and to tight to pull through. What is the trick?  I reserved forcing through as I am not sure it will go back on?  See pics.  I appreciate any help I can get. First time pulling off the deck.

Looking to sell my 2 stage snow blower.   I have owned it for the last 5 years and it works awesome on my 520.   I changed the bearings in the front, a new wear block for the chain and a new belt.   I haven't used in the last two years and its taking up space in my barn.  I have a new toy to plow my driveway with now.   All the brackets, extensions and tubes included to make it work.

I am in search of a mower deck for a 518xi Toro lawn tractor.  This tractor was inherited from my father who passed away.  This tractor only has 56 hours on it, and was only used to blow snow in Northern Michigan.  I am located in South Dakota and have a small acreage.  I am looking for a complete deck, 48, 52 or 60 inches.
      Thank you,
      Dave
