Wow  !!   Thanks for sharing this link guys. I love watching those eagles.   :banana-rock:   I sure hope they secured those cameras better than the camera they used last year. I was really enjoyed watching the eagles last year when one of them landed on the camera and the camera moved.

Yeah, that was right after the camera took a direct hit from one of the defecating  eagles that white washed the lens for a few days.

They are supposed to have the second camera located farther from the nest to give a wider view of the tree.   I have not been able view this one yet.

Forgot to mention...

the audio is on now too.     :text-woo:

Nice, listening to the Blue Jays and rain there in PA.  :music-listening:

Almost sounds like last years big :wh: show.   :hide:

Scroll over the video, then click on the diagonal arrows icon, lower right hand corner to enlarge image to full screen.

Looks like they've now added the second camera Ed mentioned too...

with infra-red, night vision capabilities.

I agree, I've been checking in on the Eagles every day. I think it's almost time for the egg laying to start. I love watching.    :thumbs2:

No eagles on the nest this morning, but there is a brave or stupid squirrel digging a hole right in the center of the nest.

I'm thinking...shouldn't they have dropped an egg by now?  :eusa-think:

Not yet Craig.    Last year it was Feb 14 and 17.    It will be interesting to note if this this warm temp has any effect on  the laying date.

Hey..Hey...We have the female sitting on the nest just now.  She wasn't there this morning.    :handgestures-thumbupright:   We could be getting close to an egg.

I didn't witness it, but there is evidence of a murder in the nest.  I wonder if that stupid squirrel brought lunch ?

She must be in the clean plate club because there is no residue left in the nest when I checked just now. default_coffee.gif

Hi Bob, I see a few bones under the corn husk on the left side of the nest.

Big feast in the nest this afternoon.

First one...

...and as soon as it left, the other appeared to finish the carcass off.

Didn't see what ever it was brought into the nest, tons of grey fluffy down though.  :dunno:

Looking like a major nest rehab project has started this morning.  :handgestures-fingerscrossed:

I went out for a walk this morning and left the eagle cam running. When I came home I heard the sound that my 16 year old cat makes when she is watching squirrels through the window. Sort of a "ack ack ack" chattering noise. If you have a cat you what I am talking about. So I walked into my office and there she was, sitting in front of the computer screen trying her best to get a crack at the eagles.
