Do you mean like this Nelson muffler? It came off a 1 owner 75 B80. I bead blasted it. Painted it with 1300 degree paint. It was also cured properly. Heated it and cooled it 3 times. As instructions required. The muffler on the tractor is the new one I bought. They are still available, but pricey.

Are you a fiddle player?   I've got a fiddle case just like that.

Judging by what the muffler is laying on, may be a skateboarder too. Oh, and welcome to Red Square redone.

My 416-8 I believe has a Nelson / Nelsen muffler to, must check on that, chev just had one for sale in the classifieds a few weeks back.

Speaking of the violin / fiddle. My wife has one in is case in her closet. Belive me, if it NEVER came out of the case for her to play for the rest of my life. I would die a happy man, she stinks playing it sooo baaad. Lol

I just thought  that Redone may have wanted a nice condition original  muffler for his B80. I guess I'll have to put more thought about what's in the background  of my pictures.:ROTF:

I'm a bluegrass musician but I don't play the fiddle.  I have a fiddle and it stays under the bed, and my family is happy about that!

I hear you about the price of the mufflers. I figured if the first one lasted 35-40 years. I'll be pushing up daisies when the new mufflers I bought are shot!:icecream:
