Deadguy 861 #1 Posted December 13, 2015 Hello everyone, This past year my wife and I jumped head first into the Wheel Horse pool, starting out with a 1967 857 which the previous owner rescued from a barn, repainted, installed a Robin Subaru 13.5 hp engine and 6 speed hi-lo Unidrive, and included a 48" belt driven side discharge deck, 36" gear driven deck, and a front mount snowblower. I added liquid filled lug tired all the way around, a box scraper, utility cart, and a used Brinly field plow. The little tractor worked out so well, we picked up a 1972 Raider 10 as well. The Kohler engine in that thing is quite the beast! We added liquid filled lugged tires, a new seat, and repainted it to suit my wifes's tastes. That means it's pink now.
