It's a competition to see which part part of my body hurts each day. And then on rainy days - it's a real race!

You might want to add Titanium to that list.

:text-yeahthat:              Bob makes a goo point, I have titanium in my back and he will soon.   The "Golden Years" refers to the gold the medical community make from us old codgers.    :ychain:

I'll be 70 in January. I check the obituaries in the news paper everyday and I haven't seen my name yet.

I do the same thing, but I see lots of young people (55 and under), and lots of really old (85 and over) (sorry Russ), and at 65 I feel very lucky.

I joined the "Titanium Club" on June 24 - with my six inch  plate and eight screws.  :angry-banghead:

Those were the staples. :D Now that the swelling is down, the incision is just a faint line. But the plate is somewhat noticeable. I'm hoping that they don't have to go in again to remove it. I've heard horror stories of it being rejected at about 1 year!

he detectors

That's promising to hear! I'm not sure if I can set off the detectors at the airport, as I self-volunteered for the scanner instead. TSA was appreciative of that.
