I actually would have rather listened to my friendly local Cubbie fan bragging. But NOOOO! stevasaurus 22,229 #43 Posted October 22, 2015 Well Dave...2 things. I have never been a Cubs fan...so like Craig is suggesting...there is no ship to jump. As I explained at the start of this thread, if the White Sox aren't in it, I am a Chicago Fan. I didn't even watch the last 2 games, and Cubs fans are happy with what the Cubs did this year...and rightfully so. They did play good ball and they had a chance. I will probably not watch another game this year, not because of what happened to the Cubs...I just don't care for the Met or KC (should they get there). Like Squonk says...hockey is starting and I am a Blackhawks fan. I have nothing bad to say about the Mets, they have great pitching, defense and their bats were hot...gees, they had people on base just about every inning. The 2nd thing...the announcer they had on TBS was just so pro Mets...I just got tired of listening to him...he had a 100 years of bad things to say about the Cubs...when I did watch...it was without the sound on. Rivalry Wednesday, Hockey Night in Canada on Saturday and every Sabres game on. Hey they even won a game the other night! Can't wait for the Hawks and Sabres game in Dec. HOCKEY! HOCKEY!
