I think that motor would look better on a 300 or 400 series

Me too Slammer, but it's kind of a "Sleeper' in the 12 Auto isn't it?  LOL, kinda like a 427 big block in a 1964 Chevy Nova with 14 inch wheel and hub caps.

I like the idea...so much that I just put a K series 16 into my electro 12 to make an Electro 16.  Only bad thing the electro hood tapers in too much at the bottom and i couldn't use the muffler this one has.

I'd like to see a pic or two of that :)

Also like the sneak peak of the '37 Ford lurking in the background, perhaps you could work out a package deal.  :ychain:

My dad has a charger 10 with a k series 16hp on it and he loves it. He uses it as his main mower with a 48'' deck no hydro deck lift though

Slammer302's Dad has the machine! Great setup.  :text-yeahthat:

An electric lift would be nice if hydro wasn't there.

I think it's a cool upgrade.  A tight squeeze, but I like it.  Might get some custom stickers for it, or leave as a sleeper.

Did you swap out the hood???  Or did they change hood design My electro12 (1968) hood is too narrow at the bottom to clear the style of muffler you have on your conversion.

The charger 10 is a 71 I think I believe it had the bigger hood on it already and I'm pretty sure its original also has the attache O matic. I would love to go get it and if it hangs around long enough I might I don't have any old style decks though all my stuff is older or newer
