A cool thing in case the pure red junkies didn't know. The cub shift pattern allows for aftermarket Knobs, also matches the 3rd gear speed and feel of the shifter clunk.

what all is the weak link in them. i have to replace some bushings and some cleaning to my transmission so maybe if its easy to get to they may have a stronger part to replace it.

weak part is the stock carrier, you can upgrade to a two piece carrier, or a dart one.  We have broke the input shaft and the forks  Seem more cubs break their axles than WH's  My son could change a cub rear out in 15 minutes. We used to pull with JD's Cubs and WH now only WH in the stock classes
