Recommended Posts

I just inquired a D180 and need to know how the brakes should work...they don't work currently. Also, where on the site I could find any manuals for the D180

A search for D-180 Auto written like that in the Downloads Files brings these up
http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/search/?q=D-180+Auto&type=downloads_file

In 1973 it was named a 18hp Auto

A search for D-160 and D-200 will bring up more as they are all similar except for the engine.

I recently started a topic on the differences of turning brakes here:" Turning Brake Collection & Differences " you will have to copy and paste into search bar, Mark.

Early Sundstrand hydos did not have "brakes".  The hydro unit provided braking action hydraulically.  Later ones had an external band brake which could need adjusting. Would need to know your model number to see what you have.
