RDPJR 4 #1 Posted July 13, 2015 I just inquired a D180 and need to know how the brakes should work...they don't work currently. Also, where on the site I could find any manuals for the D180

"D"- Man 827 #3 Posted July 14, 2015 I recently started a topic on the differences of turning brakes here:" Turning Brake Collection & Differences " you will have to copy and paste into search bar, Mark.
pfrederi 17,143 #4 Posted July 14, 2015 (edited) Early Sundstrand hydos did not have "brakes". The hydro unit provided braking action hydraulically. Later ones had an external band brake which could need adjusting. Would need to know your model number to see what you have.
