rmaynard 14,893 #51 Posted August 13, 2015 How did it tow? Was the trailer loaded up?Mike......... I only had the RJ and about 200 pounds of junk. So my total weight was only about 1500 lbs. It towed like it wasn't even there. I'm hauling the RJ, some implements, and my 416-H up to Dover on Saturday. Will let you know about that later. When I set up the hitch, I followed Toyota's guidelines. The hitch pin hole at 44" from the center of the rear axle, and the center of the ball at 56". For some reason, that seems to be the magic dimensions for best control. Backing was a breeze, unlike with my Ford van that had the worst steering recovery of anything I've towed with.
