stevasaurus 22,229 #4 Posted July 11, 2015 (edited) I had an Illinois plate the was my Dad's. It had "DBMIGF" on it...it stood for "Don't Bother Me, I'm Going Fishing". My daughter was over here and she spotted it and latched onto it. I'll take them John, If you want to send them to me. Thanks Mike, the Michigan plates used to be those colors. They are pretty heavy...I have a feeling this is going to cost some bucks. Edited July 11, 2015 by stevasaurus

Total...26 platesNo. of States...12Weight of plates (on my scale)...7 lbs...before packagingI'll wrap them up and mail them either Thursday or Friday. C-101plowerpower 1,605 #10 Posted July 15, 2015 i guess i've got room for that much didn't think there would be that many
stevasaurus 22,229 #11 Posted July 15, 2015 The plates are approximately 6" x 12" each. If you put all the plates up like what I did, you are looking at 4 1/2' by 3'. I would think you have that kind of room for the best collection of plates in the world...and it could very well be that. A lot of people collect plates, but they would be from their vehicles in only the state or states that they have lived in. This collection is from 12 states and shows some very collectable plates in the mix...and it is going to be in the Netherlands. I really doubt that there is another collection like this out there, I hope you enjoy and treasure this Koen...I know you will...it is really special.
