robojoe9 28 #1 Posted June 19, 2015 I've looked at parts breakdown and seems simple but do not want to mess anything up. How do I remove shifter from trans? rmaynard 14,851 #4 Posted June 19, 2015 There should be a jamb nut holding the set screw from backing out. Loosen that first, then the set screw. Be sure the transmission is in neutral before beginning. It makes it easier to reinstall the shifter. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
