rmaynard 14,896 #1 Posted June 9, 2015 (edited) Some time ago, and I can't find the thread, a question was asked: "How many tires and batteries do you own?"So I think it's a good time to dredge this subject up again. You might be surprised at your own answers. Here is the criteria. The tires must be pneumatic (inflatable). They must be non-highway tires, so you can count your car, truck, or highway rated trailer.Tires that you can count can be on yourWheel Horse Tractor;Any cart you pull behind the tractor;other brands of tractors;snow blowers;tillers;pressure washers;leaf vacuums;generators;etc, etc, etc...Batteries must be used on outdoor power equipment as well. So, to get things started, here is my count;416-H 4 tires, 1 battery416-H 4 tires, 1 batteryB-60 4 tiresB-100 4 tires, 1 batteryB-100 4 tires, 1 batteryCommando 8 4 tires, 1 battery857 4 tires, 1 battery701 4 tires, 1 battery3 Bath tub carts 6 tires1 Agri-Fab cart 2 tires1 Husky cart 2 tiresJohn Deere 4 tires, 1 batteryJohn Deere 4 tires, 1 batteryTroy-Bilt snow blower 2 tiresGenerator 2 tiresMig Welder 2 tiresYerf-Dog mountain tricycle 3 tiresYerf-Dog wagon 2 tiresCarftsman handtruck 2 tiresCyclone Rake 2 tiresWife's garden cart 2 tiresSo, my total is currently 67 tires, and 9 batteries. CasualObserver 3,406 #4 Posted June 9, 2015 (edited) Sheesh... the list is too long to type out... I just scribbled what I could think of on paper.. between tractors, attachments, snow blower and bikes.... and I'm sure I'm forgetting a few....I'm at 106 tires not counting spares and extras that don't have a "home" ... and a whopping 3 batteries. (those damn things are expensive, I only keep a couple good ones around and just move them when I need to!)And sadly, that's nothing to some of the members here who will have double that in just tractor tires... not even counting "others" Edited June 9, 2015 by CasualObserver remembered a few extras
