KC9KAS 4,741 #1 Posted May 10, 2015 Just heard this morning that a childhood friend/neighbor of mine was waslking across a street in California and was hit by a vehicle and killed. He was 2 1/2 years older than I and he had 2 sisters. We used to play and ride motorcycles together. I would care for their pets when they went on vacation. We all helped maintain the city park during the summers. Their father was the person that got me involved in motorcycles when I was 14 years old! I was very close to to the entire famly while growing up. Just one more thing to depress me after turning 60 last week! Good thing I am medicated! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

neil 2,398 #3 Posted May 10, 2015 That is really tragic news, my thoughts are with his family. So tragic . It is really painful when someone so close to us passes , my mother is just a couple of days away now from losing her long battle with cancer, I don't know what I am gonna do without her being around , I already miss her so much as she is now in a morphine induced coma for the pain & isn't likely to gain consciousness. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

19richie66 16,932 #8 Posted May 11, 2015 Sorry for your loss. I lost my Uncle, my friend Mike(cancer) and my Dad all in one year. Another co-worker was killed on a motorcycle on his way home from work the year after. It's all around us and hurts when it happens. We just have to look at the good times we had together while we were here and laugh. Again, sorry for your loss and Neil, so sorry for what your dealing with. I wish you well in the days to come.
