Adjusting D180 hydraulics for "creep"

Recommended Posts

rpilote

Hi, I now have my D180 running strong, and the hydraulics are working fine. I need to know what the procedure is for adjusting linkages and adjusting for "creep" when in neutral position. I assume there is a procedure that needs to be followed..Thanks in advance, Rich

This is a finicky adjustment, especially as the tractor gets more age and the parts get more wear. I have a D-160 and a D-180, the 180 is pretty good in finding neutral, but the 160 is really 'touchy', I have to jockey the lever the find that 'sweet' spot for neutral. One thing for sure, I pause for a few seconds before getting out of the seat to check for creep on both of them!
