Bill Allert 68 #1 Posted April 13, 2015 Hi everyone, I thought I would share a few photos I took while out in Bloomington, MN. I am in charge of equipment repairs for a golf course management company on the east coast, and went out to Toro's headquarters for a week of training. They really are a top notch company, and you feel like your walking through a museum as you go down their halls. They seem to have every product ever built on display! Here are a few to start. Bill Allert 68 #6 Posted April 13, 2015 This is their corporate headquarters, where besides training they also do all their research & development. That part of the operation is huge. We got a tour of the "back end" but only after signing to a life of secrecy!!!!! They might make the front accessible to the general public...good question. 6wheeler 585 #8 Posted August 7, 2017 A few years ago a very good friend of mine passed away. He was a prototype engineer for Toro. He worked there for over 20 years. As a matter of fact? I have a prototype hood for the 300 series tractor that he got from there. It has measurements written on it from the first year of production. I went to the Bloomington headquarters once with him and he was allowed to show me around. It was a great experience. He was a good source for info. as he helped design them. He could find any part too. I guess it would be easier, if you made them. Nice pics.
