What's in His Mirror ???

Recommended Posts

stevebo

Figured this might be a good thread to start... Kinda like we have "what's in your mirror"  but this thread will be for those of us who sold our tractor or attachments etc... So......... I will start. I sold my 1976 D250 today with a 72" mower deck and front snow plow. A member here from the eastern part of the state bought it. He was driving a older Ford that was let's just say ......at it's capacity. I did confirm with him that he made it back home tho. Nice meeting you today Jason. Good luck with it. I know at some point I will regret selling that bad boy !!

Oh yeah he also took an old 25hp Evinrude outboard I was giving away.

It will be 2 weeks (Mentone) before I can really add to this thread.  :eusa-think:  and I will.  :orcs-cheers:

Hard to believe wooden ramps held up a D-250!  Were the ramps just hooked to the lip of the tailgate?

Definitely a full load there.

Mike-

Those ramps were not going to make it.... I had a newer shorter set of ramps. We pulled the tailgate off and backed his truck up to an incline on my yard so it was not very steep at all. I told him that I have seen some really bad things happen with guys driving up ramps so we took care of the money exchange and made the deal official before he drove it up. I told him if he damages the tractor getting it on the truck it was "his" I feel good that it will be going to a good home..

Here is the most recent new owner of my C195. Kenb is very happy with this bad boy. I know he will take real good care of her. I say it will have a complete Kenb restoration by the end of May. Good luck with it Ken!

I have a funny feeling Ken may be dragging some heavy "electric start" metal to the show this year.... He is building quite a nice heard of some rear tractors!

Was at Steve's house today looking for some RJ parts. He had a guy coming 5.5 hours to do some horse trading. Just as he was about to leave, Steve remembered he needed to get a picture for this thread but his phone was down in the barn so I took it for him. Steve got a very nice restored C-160 and the other guy got one of his 520s. So here what was in his mirror on the way home:

So I just sold my Honda Four Trax that I had listed here and on CL. Guy contacted me and came down from VT (2.5 hours away) to pick it up. Did not get a good picture but here it is....

After buying the Polaris Sportsman I put the 85" Honda 80 up for sale. She is headed down the road but this guy may have some trouble actually seeing it in his mirror ...
