857 horse 2,581 #3 Posted April 8, 2015 this weekend i am traveling 350 miles to buy an 857..... has been parked in a garage the last 35 years it runs very well......looks better than my best tractor it has an excellent deck....i am paying $500.00 there are no wheel horses to be found for sale in virginia,,,,,,ANYWHERE.... supply ,demand, desire,,,,,,,,,,,,and gas money good luck....... 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
rmaynard 14,854 #4 Posted April 8, 2015 I have purchased two 857's over the last two years. Both have come from the Maryland or south central Pennsylvania area. I will tell you that in my opinion, a nice 857 with accessories, that has been maintained and garage kept, should be valued at a price not unlike those mentioned in the first two responses. If you can get it for less, all the better. My method has always been to take (in cash) the most money you are willing to pay, offer less, and settle somewhere in-between if possible. 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
