decal removal

I was just wondering if any body had ever put on a decal and it was wrong and tryed to take it off and how ??

Or if any one had ever done this by mistake

When i put on decals i make the surface wet with water blended with a little of soap. So you can move or remove off the decals as long as the water is between the surface and the decal. Then when the decal is at the right place you draw off the water with a scraper. That

The only way I know to take off a vinyl sticker is with heat from a heat gun.

I doubt it would be useable afterward.

I have used oven cleaner in the past and was able to remove them cleanly however the decal is toast!

I used Permatex Gasket Remover and the decal came right off..............along with all the paint the remover got on!
