pacer 3,159 #26 Posted April 2, 2015 (edited) don't have the right filtration and an excellent air dryer is a must , What kind of dryer are you using? I dont have one. When I got my cabinet the gun that came with it just would not work, after messing with it I finally figured out that it was designed to have a venturi effect right at the tip and as the air passed over that part of the gun it would compress and of course tend to condense thereby causing "clumping" of the dust in the media, which would quickly stop up the gun. I seldom have a problem with water in my system (Ive always thought that weird living here in La with the humidity we have) I had a couple of the cheap suction type guns and in order to get a piece finished blasting I quickly set up the cheapo gun and, Hey! it worked beautifully! Sooo, I have just continued using that type gun... But, some day I would like to put a dryer on if it wouldnt cost an arm and leg. Of course I do have some moisture in my system, but as I said its rarely a problem (my buddy has a similar set as I do and he doesnt have a moisture problem either) Edited April 2, 2015 by pacer Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
